      <title>Investigating Women's Sense of Security in Urban Spaces (Case Study: Neighborhoods of Reagion 4 of Kerman City)</title>

      <description>Introduction: Security is considered one of the fundamental and primary human needs, as the absence or lack of security not only imposes significant material and spiritual costs on societies but also fosters feelings of insecurity among various social groups. In this context, ensuring security for women, who are regarded as social assets, contributes to overall development and progress. Therefore, the aim of the present study is to examine women's sense of security in selected neighborhoods of District 4, Kerman city.Data and Method: The research is descriptive-analytical in nature, and the WASPAS model, a new technique with high efficiency and effectiveness in decision-making processes, was used for data analysis. In this model, the higher the value of Qi​ the higher the rank assigned to the neighborhood.Results: The neighborhood of Sarasiab ranks first in terms of the lowest sense of security for women, followed by the neighborhoods of Sarbaz and Towkalabad in second and third places, respectively. Sarasiab achieved the first rank with values of &amp;amp;lambda;=0.769 and Qi​=0.77, Sarbaz ranked second with &amp;amp;lambda;=0.997 and Qi​=0.695, and Towkalabad ranked third with &amp;amp;lambda;=0.846 and Qi​=0.416 in terms of insecurity for women. Issues such as widespread migration, dilapidated infrastructure, and inadequate lighting have made these neighborhoods unsafe for women.Conclusion: Sarasiab neighborhood has the lowest level of women's sense of security, while Towkalabad offers better conditions for women's security compared to the other two neighborhoods.</description>

      <title>Analysis of the Impact of the Lifestyle of the Elite Class on the Formation of the Architectural Body of the Late Qajar Period (Case Study: Residential Buildings in Tehran)</title>

      <description>Lifestyle is the result of individual choices through which one introduces oneself; in this regard, the home, as a place of residence, reflects the lifestyle of its inhabitants. The aim of this study is to identify cultural components in the architecture of the mansions in Tehran at the end of the Qajar period, considering the lifestyle of the elite class and analyzing the morphological changes of the buildings under study. The two key questions in this paper are: What morphological changes did the architecture of elite homes in Tehran during the late Qajar period undergo, considering the lifestyle of the elite class? And, what cultural and social components influenced the architecture of elite homes in Tehran during this period? Materials and Methods: The research is fundamental in nature and has been carried out in a descriptive-analytical mixed approach. The data were collected through archival methods and field surveys, then analyzed using A-Graph software and evaluated through logical reasoningThe social interactions in introverted houses are lower, but their level corresponds to extroverted houses, and the influence of imported culture has not altered the privacy of spaces. Extroverted houses have higher guest reception capacities and can be considered more suitable for hosting parties.</description>

      <title>The Explaining of Relationship between Smart Citizenship with Ecological Citizenship (Case Study: Urmia Citizens)</title>

      <description>Citizenship is a type of social contract that guarantees the achievement of welfare and security at the community level, and how individuals in society should behave to achieve this goal is one of its essential issues. The present study aims to examine the relationship between smart citizenship and ecological citizenship, and for this purpose, it studied the citizens of Urmia.This research is a survey type with a descriptive-analytical approach with the aim of practical adjustment and information in the field using the questionnaire. The statistical population of Urmia citizens is between 18 and 70 years old, and the sample size is estimated at 411 people who were selected by cluster sampling. The obtained data were calculated using Pearson's correlation test, and regression analysis was used to obtain the amount of prediction of the dependent variable by the independent variable. To measure each of the variables in the questionnaire, a 5-point Likert scale was used. According to the results obtained, the correlation between smart citizenship and ecological citizenship was equal to 0.364 with 99% confidence, indicating a positive and meaningful relationship, also the regression analysis of the variable of smart citizenship with ecological citizenship showed it was that smart citizenship predicts 17.3 percent of the variance of ecological citizenship in citizensEcological citizenship, age, and education are powerful variables for predicting smart citizenship, and given the relationship between these variables, investing in and developing each of these variables can lead to the improvement and development of the other variables.</description>

      <title>]nvestigating waste management and environmental treatment of citizens in relationship with population and residence structures in Varamin city</title>

      <description>Objective: The purpose of this article is to evaluate waste management (WM) and the treatment of citizens on WM to find that whether they are related to the structure of population and settlement.Materials and Methods: In this descriptive-analytical research it is used survey data that be collected from sample people of household heads using a questionnaire. For data analysis, it is applied the one-sample T-Test, descriptive parameters by using SPSS software, Interoplation-IDW tools, and Extract Multi Variables to Point and Fuzzy Overlay by using the Arc GIS. Results: The evaluation of WM and treatment in total indicators obtained an average value of 3.13 of the evaluation range between 1 to 5 which indicates an average level. Nearly three-quarters of the treatment indicators show an average level and a only afew of them show a very unfavorable or very favorable situation. The southern and southwestern edges of the city present a more unfavorable situation in terms of WM. No significant correlation is obtained between the quality of mannagement and waste treatment with the 7 population-residential indicators. Also, the highest correlation figure is only +0.22 for the indicator of literate people. Although there is no significant difference in zoning maps of the variables, but in the central parts of the city, they are more similar.Conclusion: There are many shortcomings in both management and citizenship treatment. management indicators reveal more weaknesses than the treatment indicators.</description>

      <title>Examining the Impact of Oil Revenues on Urban Sprawl around Tehran with Emphasis on Housing Prices, Services, and Agriculture (Case Study: Marginalized Areas of Mortezā Gerd and Ghiām Dasht)</title>

      <description>Objective: This research investigates relationship between oil revenues and housing prices, service sector income, and agricultural income from 2001 to 2021. Materials and Methods: In the first phase, the impact of oil revenues on housing prices, as well as service and agricultural sector incomes, is examined. In the second phase, the effect of housing prices, rent, and service and agricultural sector incomes on population growth in the peripheral areas is analyzed using correlation tests.Results: The studyis based on the "Dutch Disease" hypothesis in resource-rich countries. The results show that oil revenues have a positive and significant impact on housing prices and the service sector, with both variables increasing as oil revenues rise. However, no significant effect of oil revenues on agricultural income is observed. In the second phase, housing prices positively influence population growth in Mortezā Gerd and Ghiām Dasht, while a decrease in service sector income leads to an increase in urban sprawl. The agricultural sector shows no impact on urban sprawl.Conclusion: Overall, the findings suggest that from 2001 to 2021, increasing oil revenues have contributed to the rise in urban sprawl around Tehran. The "Dutch Disease" hypothesis holds true for non-tradable goods, such as housing and services, but not for tradable goods like agriculture. In conclusion, the increase in oil revenues has led to urban sprawl in the Tehran outskirts, as rising oil revenues have resulted in higher housing prices and service sector expansion.</description>

      <title>A comparative study of structural, welfare and criminal social Problems in Tehran</title>

      <description>Introduction: The wide variety of social problems in Tehran increases the need to pay attention to their classification and interactive study from different aspects of form, structure and substance.Data and Method: This article has investigated this issue using qualitative research method and its data and information have been collected using in-depth interviews with groups of victims of these three types. Results: The findings have shown that these three categories of problems in a layered system have distinct features in the components of form and nature, level of sociological occurrence, geographical space and location, institutional status, relationship with other Problems and strategies and solutions. Welfare Problems are economic in nature. They appear mainly at the level of urban areas and become a part of their identity and are focal in nature compared to the other two types of Problems. Structural Problems are social in nature and are community-oriented, they mainly occur at the level of the whole city or the society, and they are more complex than the other two categories of Problems. Crime-causing Problems are often individual in nature, they occur at the level of small places such as neighborhoods and hangouts or families, and in contrast to the other two categories, they are mostly caused by individual causes.Conclusion: The results of the article showed that the intervention and control of social Problems in Iran and in particular the city of Tehran requires recognizing these differences and adopting appropriate management approaches.</description>

      <title>Spatial Analysis of Citizens' Perception of Smart Tourism Development Case Study: Citizens of Ahvaz City</title>

      <description>Introduction: The level of awareness and perception of citizens in different parts of Ahvaz city of the concept and components of smart tourism is one of the prerequisites for realizing this type of tourism.Data and Method: This study is "descriptive-analytical". The statistical population includes citizens of Ahvaz city aged 15 years and above (887,280 people). The sample size was 400 and distributed in twelve selected neighborhoods. SPSS, GIS and Cocoso software were used to analyze the data.Results: there is heterogeneity in the level of citizens' awareness and perception of the concept of smart tourism in different neighborhoods of Ahvaz city, so that in neighborhoods with a higher quality of life, citizens have higher information, awareness, and perception of the benefits and applications of smart tourism, and in neighborhoods with a lower quality of life, including run-down and marginalized neighborhoods, lower awareness and perception are observed. the level of citizens' perception and awareness of smart tourism components in different neighborhoods of Ahvaz city has significant differences. In fact, the ranking of the studied neighborhoods is based on spatial levels from rich to poor.Conclusion: the level of citizens' perception of smart tourism changes from places and neighborhoods with higher levels to places and neighborhoods with lower levels. Therefore, the development of smart tourism in the city of Ahvaz requires paying attention to these differences and implementing programs to reduce the digital divide and increase awareness and acceptance of smart tourism technologies in all neighborhoods of this city.</description>

      <title>Evaluation and Analysis of Social Capital Components and Their Role in Security Provision (Case Study: The City of Bam)</title>

      <description>Introduction: Social capital, as a set of social relationships and norms that include trust, cohesion, participation, and social awareness, plays a key role in ensuring the security of communities. This research aims to investigate the relationship between the components of social capital and the provision of security in the city of Bam.Data and Method: The research method used in this study is descriptive-analytical, and data were collected through a questionnaire based on a five-point Likert scale. The statistical sample included 384 citizens over the age of 15 in Bam, selected through stratified sampling. Data analysis was performed using SPSS software and statistical tests such as T-Test and multiple regression.Results: The findings indicate that the multiple correlation coefficient for the security provision variable is 0.23, which signifies a significant relationship between the components of social capital (social trust, social cohesion, social participation, and social awareness) and security provision. The results of statistical tests also show that social participation and social trust have the greatest impact on security, while social awareness and social cohesion are also significantly related to security. However, some indicators, such as trust in officials'''' promises and participation in neighborhood maintenance and cleanliness, need improvementConclusion: Strengthening the components of social capital can be considered a key strategy in security policy-making for the city of Bam. Improving public trust, increasing social participation, and enhancing social awareness are among the measures that can help create a secure and stable society.</description>

      <title>Emergency Discharge Earthquake Disaster Management in Kerman's Old Pamnar Neighborhood</title>

      <description>Introduction:The emergency evacuation of disaster survivors from hazard-affected areas is one of the main strategies and key actions in crisis management following natural disasters. It represents an early and critical stage of crisis response that must be carried out in the shortest possible time, as a rapid transfer of victims can significantly reduce mortality rates resulting from the hazard. Accordingly, the purpose of this study is to examine earthquake crisis management with a focus on emergency evacuation in the Pamenar neighborhood of the old urban fabric of Kerman city.Data and Method:This research employs a descriptive&amp;amp;ndash;analytical approach. Data were collected through both library studies and field surveys. The study investigates the factors influencing emergency evacuation during earthquakes in the Pamenar neighborhood&amp;amp;rsquo;s historic area. For data analysis and final evaluation, spatial modeling was conducted within the Arc Map environment.Findings:The emergency evacuation priorities for this neighborhood during an earthquake crisis were identified as follows: first-priority evacuation areas encompass 22.23% (84,477 m&amp;amp;sup2;), second-priority areas account for 21.56% (78,416 m&amp;amp;sup2;), and third-priority areas cover 36.34% (132,185 m&amp;amp;sup2;) of the total built-up area. Altogether, approximately 81% (295,078 m&amp;amp;sup2;) of Pamenar&amp;amp;rsquo;s old quarter in Kerman requires emergency evacuation in the event of an earthquake.Conclusion:Given the high level of vulnerability, comprehensive, rapid, and actionable planning for emergency evacuation in this area is essential for crisis managers. Identifying evacuation priorities can help reduce casualties and enhance the effectiveness of relief efforts.</description>

      <title>Sociological Analysis of the Relationship between the Sense of Social Security and Delinquency in the Urban Community of Qazvin (Case Study: Adolescents Aged 15-19)</title>

      <description>Introduction: the present study was conducted with the aim of sociologically examining the relationship between the sense of social security and delinquency among adolescents in Qazvin.Data and Method: The research method used in this study was a survey and its statistical population consisted of 24,318 adolescents aged 15-19 in Qazvin city, and 380 of them were selected as the statistical sample of the research through the Cochran formula. The sampling method was a random stratified type proportional to the volume. The collection tool was a questionnaire and all research information was collected through a questionnaire and analyzed by SPSS software.Results: The results of the correlation test showed that the linear relationship between the construct of feeling of social security and all its components, including life security, financial security, job security, judicial security, and psychological security, with the crime variable was significant with a confidence level of 99% and at a significance level of less than 0.01. The results of the multivariate regression analysis also showed that the independent variables present in the regression model were able to explain 44.2% of the changes in the dependent variable of delinquency. Conclusion: A sense of social security plays a vital role as one of the effective factors in preventing juvenile delinquency. When adolescents feel that they live in a safe and supportive environment, the likelihood of deviant behavior and delinquency decreases. On the other hand, in societies where feelings of insecurity and helplessness prevail, adolescents are more at risk of delinquency.</description>

      <description>Introduction: The rapid expansion of urbanization and persistent socio-spatial inequalities have heightened the need for a sociological perspective in planning urban green infrastructure. Sociology provides critical insights into the complex interactions between green spaces and societal dynamics, informing sustainable urban development strategies.Data and Method: This study presents a sociological meta-analysis of urban green infrastructure in Tehran&amp;amp;rsquo;s prospective development. Adopting a systematic-structural meta-synthesis approach, the research is purposive and descriptive-analytical, integrating bibliometric and Delphi techniques. Initially, 1,109 articles (2001&amp;amp;ndash;2024) from the Scopus database were screened using PRISMA guidelines and ASReview software in Python, yielding 436 articles for bibliometric analysis. Subsequently, 20 key indicators were assessed via the MICMAC technique, and future scenarios were developed using Scenario Wizard software. The statistical sample included 70 urban studies experts selected through snowball sampling.Results: Findings show that prior research has primarily emphasized governance, policymaking, and social justice, while religious, spiritual, and cultural applications, tourism potential, and perceptual aspects remain underexplored. Structural analysis identified digital technology and environmental justice as the most influential factors, whereas social participation and mental health exhibited the lowest influence. Scenario analysis suggests that without coordination among these drivers, green infrastructure development may face stagnation or inconsistency. The desirable scenario highlights the synergistic integration of technology, justice, and religious-social participation to achieve sustainable transformation.Conclusion: The future development of urban green infrastructure in Tehran requires a comprehensive, interactive approach that simultaneously incorporates technological innovation, social justice principles, and active public participation to ensure sustainable urban transformation.</description>

This technology has been applied in various fields, including traffic management, public space monitoring, urban safety, and green space management.Data and Method:. This research employed a systematic review method to investigate the applications of computer vision in urban design. Relevant articles were collected from reputable academic databases, including Google Scholar, Scopus, and IEEE Xplore. The selected studies were coded and analyzed using MAXQDA software to identify key themes and applications.Results:. The results show that computer vision can enhance public space quality, reduce travel time, and improve urban safety. Furthermore, it contributes to the sustainable management of urban green spaces by enabling the detection of environmental changes through the analysis of satellite images and field data. However, challenges such as the need for advanced infrastructure and privacy concerns remain significant obstacles.Conclusion:.Although computer vision offers numerous advantages for urban design, its widespread implementation is hindered by financial and technical challenges. This study suggests that future research should focus on developing cost-effective infrastructure and addressing privacy concerns.       <description>Introduction:The COVID-19 pandemic, as one of the most significant biological crises of the recent century, has had extensive impacts on social structures and urban health.Social resilience, as a key concept in crisis response, plays a fundamental role in maintaining the cohesion and health of communities. This study aims to model the causal dynamics of social resilience and examine its effect on enhancing urban health in the city of Zanjan.Data and Method: This applied research was conducted using a mixed-methods approach (qualitative-quantitative). In the qualitative phase, the effective components of social resilience were identified through expert opinions and theoretical sources. In the quantitative phase, field data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (PLS) and system dynamics modeling to investigate the relationships among variables. The statistical population of the research is specialists and experts, and sampling was done using a urposive method from 20 specialists.Results: The results indicated that social resilience has a positive and significant effect on urban health with an impact coefficient of 0.894. Key influential components included "knowledge, skills, and social awareness," "social support," "social cohesion," and "access to services." The system dynamics model also demonstrated that increasing social resilience leads to reductions in poverty, mortality, and disease prevalence, thereby enhancing urban health.Conclusion: The study&amp;amp;rsquo;s findings reveal that social resilience plays a vital role in optimal crisis management and the improvement of urban health. Therefore, strengthening this component through citizen participation, public education, social support, and intelligent policymaking should be prioritized by urban planners and managers.</description>

      <title>Urban Decayed Texture Resilience of Bandar Abbas Against Natural Disasters Using GIS and Multi-Criteria Decision-Making Methods</title>

      <description>Objective: Urban resilience has recently become one of the most important concerns in city Materials and Methods: First, a spatial and geographic information system (GIS) database was developed, identifying five main criteria including socio-economic, physical-structural, accessibility, physical, and ecological factors along with 29 related sub-criteria. The Analytical Network Process (ANP) method was used for weighting and valuing the criteria and sub-criteria, based on data collected through Delphi questionnaires distributed among experts in environmental and crisis management fields. Subsequently, spatial layers of each sub-criterion were prepared in ArcGIS, and fuzzy operators and fuzzy overlay techniques were applied to generate final resilience maps.Results: The analysis revealed that the ecological criterion, with a weight of 0.256, has the greatest impact on the resilience of Bandar Abbas. This was followed by socio-economic (0.236), physical (0.194), accessibility (0.171), and physical-structural (0.141) criteria. Among the sub-criteria, distance from polluted sites, access to medical centers, flood risk, functional zones, and access to fire stations played the most significant roles in enhancing resilience. Conclusion: The results of this study can serve as a basis for integrated planning and management to improve the resilience of the urban decayed texture in Bandar Abbas and other coastal cities in the country.ObjectiveUrban resilience has become a critical concern in recent years, especially for coastal cities.       <title>Foresight and Identification of Livability Scenarios for Informal Settlements (Case Study: Kerman City)</title>

      <description>Introduction: Rapid urbanization and the proliferation of informal settlements have led to challenges such as inadequate infrastructure, unemployment, and social vulnerability in developing cities, including Kerman, Iran.Data and Method: This study employs a foresight approach to assess the current state and potential livability scenarios of informal settlements in Kerman. Using a descriptive-analytical method, livability factors and variables were identified through a review of relevant literature and expert consultations. By applying the MICMAC method and Scenario Wizard software, four key drivers&amp;amp;mdash;namely infrastructure development, integrated management, private sector participation, and waste management&amp;amp;mdash;were identified from 20 factors. Based on these drivers, four scenarios (optimistic, likely optimistic, likely pessimistic, and pessimistic) were developed.Results: Findings indicate that these settlements face multiple challenges across physical-spatial, economic, socio-cultural, environmental, and institutional dimensions. The comprehensive plan&amp;amp;rsquo;s incentive and restrictive policies can contribute to achieving a sustainable and identity-driven city.Conclusion: This study enriches the theoretical framework of foresight in the context of informal settlements and provides a practical roadmap for urban policy-making, though it highlights limitations such as geographical focus and the need for longitudinal research.</description>

      <title>Analysis and evaluation of the perception of Ilam city residents on the role of identity-forming factors in urban design</title>

      <description>The purpose of this study is to evaluate the perceptions of Ilam city residents about the role of identity-forming factors in urban design.so, important components including artificial, natural, socio-cultural, physical, and historical factors were considered. The model was developed using the structural equation modeling (SEM) technique with the partial least squares (PLS) approach in Smart Pls software. Also, the path coefficients of the five identity-forming factors (natural, artificial, social and cultural, physical, and historical factors) relative to perceptual factors were 0.821. The correlation between the artifact factors and the residents' perceptions was 0.832, which was significant considering the t value of 5.39. The correlation between social and cultural factors and residents' perceptions was 0.751 and the t-value was 4.84. Also, natural factors had the least significant relationship with the perception factors of Ilam city residents. In general, the t-coefficient obtained for all relationships was greater than 1.96, which indicates the significance of the relationships. Considering that the GOF values for the research model were obtained as 0.687, it can be said that the model in question had a strong fit regarding the perceptions of Ilam residents regarding the identity-giving factors in urban design. The overall results indicate that all five components (natural, artificial, socio-cultural, physical, historical) have a positive but unequal effect on residents' perception of identity-giving factors. In such a way that the items of artificial factors, socio-cultural factors, physical factors, historical factors, and natural factors had the greatest effect on the residents' perception variable, respectively.</description>

The aim of study is to explain the principles and criteria of an ideal city from the perspective of Shirazi citizens in two regions (6 as an affluent and 7 as an impoverished regions) based on a bottom-up planning model.The research methodology is based on mixed method. In the first step, qualitative themes collected in regions 6 and 7 and the theoretical structure was designed by Maxqda software. This research aims to assess the future of urban poverty in Tabriz based on the analysis of key factors and structural trends.Data and Method: This research is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-analytical in terms of data collection method. The research framework is futures research and key factor analysis. The required data was collected through library and field studies and questionnaires using the Delphi method.Mic Mac software was used to analyze the data and identify key factors.Results: Governance institutional factors with a score of 401 have a greater impact on the future spatial distribution of urban poverty in Tabriz. In contrast, environmental factors with a score of 238 show the least impact. Spatial physical factors with a score of 377 have also experienced the highest level of impact.distribution of resources, the city will be exposed to deepening spatial inequalities.Conclusion: The results of the research show that reducing urban poverty in Tabriz requires reforming institutional structures, improving urban governance, strengthening spatial justice in the distribution of services and opportunities, and increasing social resilience in underserved neighborhoods. Strategic planning based on foresight can prevent the spread of urban poverty by identifying effective intervention points and pave the way for sustainable urban development in Tabriz.</description>

Accordingly, this study aims to examine the influence of environmental-physical factors on women's sense of social security through survey and questionnaire methods.Data and Method: This applied research adopts a quantitative approach with a descriptive-correlational design. The statistical population comprises all women aged 18 and above residing in Ardabil's peri-urban zones in 2025. A sample of 384 participants was determined using Cochran's formula and selected via multi-stage cluster sampling. Data were collected through a researcher-developed questionnaire and analyzed using SPSS software with Pearson correlation and multiple linear regression tests. Instrument validity and reliability were confirmed through CVR/CVI indices and Cronbach's alpha (0.89), respectively.Results: Results revealed that negative past experiences (&amp;amp;beta; = -0.341), environmental attachment (&amp;amp;beta; = 0.302), local monitoring (&amp;amp;beta; = 0.224), environmental social capital (&amp;amp;beta; = 0.198), civic-environmental disorder (&amp;amp;beta; = -0.185), and residential instability (&amp;amp;beta; = -0.157) significantly influenced women's sense of social security in Ardabil's peri-urban areas. Collectively, these independent variables explained 47% of the variance in social security according to the regression model.Conclusion: The presence"eyes on the street" and local social capital networks enhances perceived security, whereas visual disorder and high residential turnover diminish it. Women's security emerges from the complex interplay of physical-environmental factors. Effective urban policies must therefore simultaneously strengthen environmental attachment, reduce visible disorder, stabilize residential patterns, and reconstruct social-civic capital within these marginalized neighborhoods</description>

Livability is defined as the quality and conditions that make a place or environment suitable and desirable for human life.Data and Method: This study employed a mixed-methods approach (qualitative-quantitative). In the qualitative phase, data were collected from 24 experts in Afghan migration affairs using qualitative content analysis and interviews. The validity of the instrument was confirmed through the CVR index, and its reliability was verified using Cohen's Kappa coefficient. In the quantitative phase, data were collected from 384 Afghan migrants in Mashhad using a questionnaire. The validity of the questionnaire was confirmed via construct validity, and its reliability was calculated with Cronbach's alpha (0.85).Results: The results revealed that livability for Afghan migrants can be explained through a model comprising key components such as environmental quality, public transportation, adequate housing, urban infrastructure, safety and security, healthcare services, education, employment and economic opportunities, social support and public participation, culture and recreation, and a sense of identity and belonging.Conclusion: Despite the serious attention of the authorities, Afghan refugees need more attention in some aspects of livability. This is possible through self-help and empowerment. One of the innovative aspects of this research is the provision of a comprehensive model for assessing the livability of refugees and its application in urban policy-making. This research can help better plan for the settlement and integration of immigrants in cities.</description>

      <description>Introduction: This study aims to explain the process of occupational identity construction, coping strategies, and the dimensions of sustainable empowerment among women working in tourism businesses in the city of Kerman, with the goal of revealing the gap between the formal discourse of empowerment and field realities.Data and Method: The research was conducted using a qualitative approach and an ethnographic method. Data were collected through 20 in-depth semi-structured interviews with women active in tourism businesses in Kerman. Participants were selected through purposive sampling with maximum variation, and data collection continued until theoretical saturation was reached. The data were analyzed using Attride-Stirling&amp;amp;rsquo;s thematic network technique. The validity and reliability of the data were ensured through participant validation, triangulation, and peer review.Results: Three overarching themes emerged: structural and cultural challenges, coping strategies, and dimensions of sustainable empowerment. The challenges are mainly manifested in patriarchal norms, post-COVID economic instability, and institutional constraints, which limit women's individual and collective agency. Meanwhile, women employ creative strategies such as redefining their occupational identity (transitioning from housewives to tourism entrepreneurs), building informal networks, and utilizing digital technologies to maintain and expand their roles in the tourism value chain. The outcome of these processes is the formation of three dimensions of empowerment: economic, psychological, and social. However, political empowerment remains weak and marginal due to institutional gaps.Conclusion: Women working in tourism businesses in Kerman have moved from a position of passivity to active agency, forming a model of &amp;amp;ldquo;conditional empowerment.&amp;amp;rdquo; This model suggests that achieving sustainable empowerment requires institutional reforms, improved access to financial resources, and strengthening women&amp;amp;rsquo;s formal participation in tourism decision-making processes.&amp;amp;nbsp;</description>

However, the future of these cities is influenced by multiple drivers that have not yet been systematically identified. The aim of this research is to identify the geopolitical drivers affecting the future of Iran's port cities and to provide prescriptive strategies based on scenario planning.Data and Method: The present research is applied-exploratory in nature and was conducted using a mixed-method (quantitative-qualitative) approach. Data were collected through interviews with ten elites and experts in political geography, urban planning, and economics. Structural analysis software MICMAC and scenario planning software ScenarioWizard.Results: Five key drivers were identified as the most influential variables: (1) creating incentives for investors, (2) development of maritime-economic tourism, (3) centrality of global companies and brands, (4) diversified business, and (5) a dynamic central workforce and acceptance of migrant populations. Based on the combination of these drivers' states, eight scenarios were developed into three groups: 'Economic Prosperity' (favorable), 'Government Inefficiency' (static), and 'Comprehensive Sanctions' (critical). Investment was identified as the most critical leverage point.Conclusion: Achieving a favorable future for Iran's port cities requires adopting aggressive strategies in attracting investment, developing maritime tourism, smartening ports, economic diplomacy, and integrating urban-port management. The collected data were analyzed using T-test..Results: The findings of the study showed that the security and economic indicators were higher among the residents of the dilapidated urban fabric of Oshnavieh, but people were not very satisfied with the other indicators overall, so that the most dissatisfaction was related to the physical and environmental dimensions.Conclusion: The results show that the quality of life in Oshnavieh has an asymmetrical pattern; the physical and environmental dimensions are in a poor state, and the economic and security dimensions are in a favorable state. However, in developing cities, their potential remains limited by the digital divide and instrumental use. This study examines the relationship between LBA functions (information sharing, interaction, place discovery/recommendation, local networking) and social participation components (awareness, interaction, solidarity, collective action) in Marvdasht.Data and Method: This descriptive-analytical study collected data via a Likert-scale questionnaire from 384 Marvdasht citizens aged &amp;amp;ge;15. Given non-normal data distribution (p&amp;amp;lt;0.001), Spearman&amp;amp;rsquo;s correlation, one-sample and independent t-tests, and one-way ANOVA were employed.Results: Place discovery/recommendation" strongly correlated with "interaction/networking" (&amp;amp;rho;=0.850, p&amp;amp;lt;0.001) and "local awareness" (&amp;amp;rho;=0.823), whereas "local networking" showed the weakest association (&amp;amp;rho;=0.462). All dimension means exceeded the neutral point (p&amp;amp;lt;0.001). Comparative tests revealed no significant gender or educational differences (p&amp;amp;gt;0.05). However, 85% of citizens exhibited low-to-medium digital literacy.Conclusion: Enhancing social participation in Marvdasht requires transitioning from instrumental (e.g., navigation) to civic (e.g., reporting, collective action) LBA use. Urban planning must prioritize improving digital literacy, designing participatory modules, and ensuring institutional responsiveness to transform digital interactions into sustainable social solidarity.</description>
